Jolines Final Release Questions–Answered.

NMD 206 Final Project

class presentation: (5-7 minutes)

TIPS:
-be sure your presentation is clear, concise and brief

going through the grand revealing of my project ( a post that has done previously ) will take up time and putting in more of my own intuitive sight on the whole scenario I’m trying ot create will also take care of a lot of this time period, along side of presenting and explaining each poster.

-focus on the highlights of your work and 3 topics below

The highlights of my work are the underlying inspirations for each peace and how each interpreted poster can be transformed into a board graphic that can be had for years and shown to as many people as possible.

-use your website/blog as you need to show product, process, or learning.

consider it done.

Part 1 What did you make?

-begin on your blog page for your project. this page should clearly state what the project is, with photos or video, and possibly a link to a page where the project actually resides if the project is a web-based project. For an example see: http://lindsayheald.wordpress.com/release/

-show your full project
Lindsey’s was a full website with the front interface for the RidesForMe project; yours might be a T-shirt, or video, or chalk board

My website blog and posters to show for the project.

-be sure you have addressed the following: research, tools, content, format, peers, audience. While you may not show these pages, they will help you with parts 2 & 3  of this presentation.

Part 2: How did you make it?

-describe the original goal, challenges, how you met the challenges, and what you ended up with.

My original idea was posted before as an approach/intent, but I’ll catch you readers up to speed with a short version. Since I’ve been snowboarding I’ve seen what a great conversation starter snowboards and skis can spark on a lift ride with their graphics alone. What an easy window to take advantage of and place meaningful designs for communication between people of all demographics who do the same activity. At first I was going to do 6 posters and 1 board rendition of a poster–but I felt such a disconnect from the snowboard theme that I transferred my idea to 3 posters and each poster’s key components that really represented the message was then transferred to the board silhouette to represent it’s own board design as well. Ending product with 6 posters.

-what tools, software, filters, helpers etc did you use to achieve your goals?

I used Adobe Illustrator to render out my ideas and found inspiration from already existing websites or color schemes to guide me through to my final products.

Part 3: What did you learn?

-what was your original question or inspiration?

The question is and always will be, how can we most accurately and intriguingly represent the cause or person in a aesthetically pleasing design that can be applied to whatever the customer/product needs to be communicated.

-what did your research, creative work or assessment of audience teach you?

Research amongst many snowboard sites such as EVO.com Burton.com K2.com to guide me towards previous designs that have made it to the top along with listening to the customers requests and requirements is what really lead me to find ease in my final renditions of posters/board designs.

-what do you know now that you didn’t before your project? & -how have you grown?

Even if there is a steady plan laid out ready to be executed, emotions and needs need to be listened to intuitively as a designer so that your ending products show the heart and care that was put into the final products.

Grand Revealance of Posters & Boards

I’m very aware of the relationship that is developed between two people from the bottom to the top of a mountain, in just a 15 minute or so chair lift ride. In those fifteen minutes, your gear can act as a sales pitch as much as a conversation starter; which is why I’ve decided that I want to shed a lot of light on the subliminal messages that can be perceived by something as simple as the graphics on the bottom/top on a snowboard or skis.

I wanted to pick out some topics of interest that I want to draw more attention to and also a customized piece by a customer request was included in this project.

Initially, I had intended on doing a 6 poster series with 1 snowboard mockup. Immediately as I dove into designing the posters I felt unattached to just the poster series so I wanted to kind of shift weight and for every poster designed I wanted a complimentary board design along side of it. To show how marketing/advertising poster components can morph into something else that gives a snowboarder a personality representation on the mountain. Representing something that is important to them, or an impersonation of what makes them who they are.

The series:

A cause driven by a friend, who has driven a non profit school in Karatu, Tanzania. I designed this map hoping that it could represent the area that the school is in and give it some recognition and maybe draw people to pay more attention to situations like this. http://www.tanzania-schools.org/ is where you can find more on the school and the people who support it.

A customized order came in from Katie Smith of Hanover, Maine. A new business owner at the age of 21 who is a free spirit by every definition. She has an obsession with dream catchers, apparently she has somewhere near 10 or 11 in her room. I stemmed off of that, and went with a design that was representational of her free spirit, love for travel and feathers.

A customized design was also made for Black Bear Energy, a Maine grown energy company that has pure intentions of giving natural energy and replenishment to as many lives as they can reach. www.blackbearb12.com is where you can find out more about their products. I pulled their new can design and color schemes to give out basic information and representational mood for the company for both the poster and design.

Current progress for final project

I have unraveled an old wake board/uni-ski? Which will have to suffice for my final attempt at a representation of a board design…decisions regarding which design I will choose to blow up to that size is still on the fence but so far I’m leaning towards something.

I have currently finished 2 out of my 5 poster designs.

A new addition to the design pool…

The plot thickens with a fabulous cause, the Tumaini School in Karatu Tanzania.

http://tanzania-schools.org/

This school is funded by an acquaintance of mine who has devoted a portion of her life (along with her family) towards improving the life and education of those who inhabit the Karatu area.

To shed some light on this little known area I’ve decided to create a map. A basic outline to give an idea of what this area is really like.

This design  will hopefully be able to be used by the founder and will hopefully but accepted in the area later on down the road.

Color Schemes

My color scheme has been chosen for a guideline and ruler for each individual piece. I’m going to use my knowledge of color relationship and how they depict certain representations and meanings so that the most optimal representation of each cause or person can have the best perceptiveness.

currently the assignment of these color schemes is for me and my designing brain only–

but here’s a sneak peak.

Intent for project

For the past 3 months I have been brainstorming ways to go about tackling a project of a design series devoted to 3 or 4 separate (under the radar) organizations, causes, current events that really draw attention mentally from people who care to put concern in that direction. I would take these designed posters and artworks which could be sold individually as prints of all sizes for students in their dorm rooms or on etsy.com to get my work out in the light. I would then take it a step further and adjust the design to be scalable to fit the dimensions of the average snowboard.

The reason behind the board→ I have had the same snowboard for the past 5 years…I’ll admit (even though it breaks my heart) that it may be time to put her on the shelf and get a new one. Maybe its my designing eye—but I refuse to ride a board that doesn’t reflect the kind of person I am style wise, in terms of composition and color it will end up playing a huge role in the decision I make on my next purchase.

The perfect selection of color combinations, the (hard to see) matt swirl design placed on the shiny graphics to create a multi textured feel and look which hidden pictures and words which always keep you searching. Every time I have gotten my board out of the closet for a new season I get the same reaction EVERY time, “Shelby, that IS you in board form, it looks like you designed that yourself.” This has fueled my desire to design snowboards for men and women alike to find the board that perfectly represents their personality and passion on a board that brings a community of people together every season on and off of the mountain. The winter sports community has such a diverse creative group of people in it that I am a proud member of this active universal club.

CAPSTONE: Business, creative customization, website where a group of people can direct their requests to me for designs and I can create a snowboard or ski graphic towards them so that there is viral media and a way to get the word out with this community for what they’re doing.

The board series in display setting would have all front designs of boards facing out about 4 feet away from a wall—a mirror (large) is on the wall so that while looking at the boards you can see the bottom of the board as well and at the same time so you can see how they relate to each other.

Scribble What??

Scribble What?

A therapeutic game that brings out thoughts of the subconscious weather it be relationship problems, hidden interests or obsession or something that represents who you are as a person—this game gives people artistic and not artistic alike a chance to communicate pictorially with the other players to take what is initially a sribble made by the opposite person, into something real.  This game is not only challenging the creativity of the players mind, but also creates problem solving to quick issues and gives first reaction thoughts and feelings a shot to be drawn out for everyone to see and deliberate what they mean.

Tues 3/13 questions one, two, three, four

Question one.) 1. Clifford Geertz says, “Every culture loves its own form of violence.” In what way do video games confirm this? What forms of violence do they represent? Geertz says the forms of violence are not always the actions that are bloody, but rather the unequal systems and structures that are created by violent means and then perpetuated. Pick a game that reveals not the superficial violence but the deeper structural violence of our culture and explain that form of violence.

Call of duty and war games re-depict the aspects of being out in the battlefield and virtually face things that our real soldiers do on a daily basis for years at a time. We find PLEASURE in reenacting situations of real life events that take lives of our own people. Modern Warfare also reenacts the issues and situations that take place. The user of the game is dropped off at a location—given certain assignments and objectives—the only way to be successful is to kill others, steal and overcome and be dominant over others that are in worse situations or on the opposing team (even though knowledge of why they are on the other side is not necessarily clear)

“threats that we are defending ourselves against are illusive”

–cancer, driving accidents, texting while driving, alcohol poisoning; things that are out of  control and at the same time controlling our actions leave us followingi the rules that have been laid down for us.

New Economy shows us different alternative situations that go against the stream that we’re all in currently.

Repetition compulsion: repeating something that concerns you for the reactionà a movement that continues. It continues so that we can find the resolution for this issue

Playing these games can help people identify with the issues that are presented in the situations that the games throw you in.

Question 2.)

Immersion into this virtual world. Opening scenes of movies or games really engage the mind or push you away. What is the hook specifically that keeps you there? Natural reactions to a fire in a mansion and super human ability which intrigues people.

The dream space; creates reality–if you can’t dream it, it can’t become a real thing. If you control the dream space of a culture, you control the culture. People take advantage of the control they can place and the reactions they can pull from society with the information and representations that are put forth.

We are allowed to virtually play it, while the bigger “higher” ups play it daily on society and those that are on the receiving end.

Structural Violence–>people who pay off the rulers to get a free pass can surpass the rules to continue on, while those who can’t afford it get in the most trouble.

Question 3. stops representing the game and starts being real life.

see how much you can get away with virtually before they get caught. what is the boundary, where is the line being drawn, what are the least amount of consequences I can receive. the sky is the limit virtually.

Physically experiencing the pain that is occuring in the game is another form of experiencing and being more involved with the situations that you are seeing visually.

“TEKKEN” Torture Tournament; electrodes are pushing people as far as they can go. “Fighting is the way of surviving”-Joline

De-sensitizing people to the violence; being overexposed to violence with the news and television. Video games also DE-sensitize them. Engage and Teach people what to do in situations in real life, the virtual reality is made unreal, untouchable.

question 4.) Re inscribe real life situations.

Male figures rule the game world. “only a handful of games where the woman is the main subject” and even then she is greatly warped to satisfy what the man wants a woman to be and look like sexually. “big boobs, tiny waist”

Do people actually assign themselves to their real roles.

question 5.)

America’s army–back door draft. There is a physical difference between being out in the field and sitting in the comfort of your own home and playing a virtual game. How can a game prove the eligibility of a person in a real war world scenario. An intrigue to young men who have been drawn to the “cool tactics” of being in the army and leaving out all of the negative aspects of real life war–death, injury and harm.

Class Questions: what is it that is learned from an Army game? Reaction times and quickened reactions along with team work.

Killing people, naturally?

Humans don’t really want to kill each other naturally–there is an extreme guilt from people who have killed multiple people.

Clarification for the Intent & Approach for Autobotography

I have only posted one approach and intent that are in relation to each other because from what I was told in class and from what I read on the class website I was informed that one solid approach and intent were due for this segment of the class criteria.

Reaching out to fellow classmates who are viewing my website; weren’t many of you under the same impression?

Student Projects::Week 7

While browsing through the copious amounts of wordpress websites that students of the NMD 206 classes before have created; they seemed repetitive and similar and related like a family–one project stood out to me wholeheartedly.

Derek O’Brien made a website called appicture a day and it calls attention to the specific autobotography project that I made reference too in my lone search to show the class who views my site what autobotography projects I found outside of the classroom. I think appicture a day is a play on words (aperture) and (a picture)–since Brien is doing what he can to make an honorable come back from his injury he looked towards documenting day to day objects and situations as a release and outlet.

The Fantasy Beyond Control

” Life is a moving target and any object that is isolated becomes history.”

That quote holds more truth in it than people may like to think. Things that are historical and remembered in our brains and records are things that we took time to acknowledge and be sure to take record of it–in comparison to all great things that have occurred but were not documented, recorded, and forgotten.

This piece written by Hershmen was very interesting to me, that she submersed herself in the artistic statement for those to see and understand what message she was trying to get across. The strength and courage put into subversive artistic creations is admirable and overlooked by many. I’m glad that Joline has asked us to read into this ladies accomplishments and take notice of what she has done.

Lessons Learned: Approach

The approach for this would be a visual representation of events that the user can recall. Events will then be categorized and interpreted by the program to create a profile for the user to determine what characteristics, qualities, lessons the person may have drawn or pulled for said event.

I am specifically fond of the twister styled or declining swirling ribbon view of the timeline; having oldest events in the smaller bottom and then as the memories become more recent the ribbon becomes wider–> this way you are able to constantly rewind and add on for as long as you wish to have the Lessons Learned application applied to your life.

Lessons Learned

My Autobotography intent is something inspired by all of the events that I’ve experienced in my lifetime and my belief that everyone has a story behind who they are and people pull certain characteristics and experiences from impacting moments; its all how you view the situation.

My intent with the Lessons Learned application is that the user would depict major events that have occurred to them over the span of their lifetime, whether or not the situations be positive or negative–and with each even that occurs to the user a series of descriptive words, lessons and values are pulled and placed into this persons profile. The community that is created with these profiles connects you to people who have experienced around 90% of the same things you have so that you can see how different people handle the same situation and find a common ground or help each other.

It’s also an intriguing idea to see what has happened to people to make them who they are today. You should never judge someone untill you know why they are the way they are.

Chapter 4::Edge of Art

Political Design: Hacktivism, Hacking Captialism, Hacking Legal Code, Hacktivist Art Accountability, Bringing Biotech Down to Earth, Outing the Old Boys Network, Non Geographic Nation, Executable Literature, Cyber Squatting on A Corporate Domain,  De commercializing the Art World, Publicizing the Private Web, Creative Cloning, Corporate Takeover.

This chapter really incorporates all of the main topics that we covered while going over Hacktivism in class discussion during the first month of this Spring semester.

Hacking Capitalism & Legal Code definitely represents the connection that hackers and people who are electronically savvy enough to represent movements and thoughts online implement and affect the legal system and those who are involved in making important decisions that affect the mass groups of people. There are many projects that have been implemented to improve appearances and political parties while other projects are souly to represent the word of the people and what they wish to achieve and have heard.

Hacking Legal Code, Hacktivist Art Accountability: The way that people can get their points across and and instate laws that dictate how we surf the web and what we’re allowed to view. Hacktivist movements like SOPA and PIPA where people join forces online and to prove that as a whole people who are feeling the same way about topics and decisions that affect our day-to-day lives is an incredible poewr to have. Art accountability digitally means that these people who want to represent their abilities of programming and graphic design online and to be represented so that people can give notice and credit to the message that is trying to be portrayed.

Non Geographic Nation: People can communicate easily on a global scale within seconds compared to physical letters and mail which means that if a mass amount of people want to deliver a meaningful desire or message it can be received and understood and acted upon within  moments. this helps also to develope deeper relationships over great periods of times to stay connected and have a form of communication.

Theatre of the Oppressed

This article reviews the different forms of theater and how the audience is given the option of not only viewing but having a voice or opinion to offer to the people involved.

It changes the age old rules applied to theatre of one stage to many people, It’s changed so that there is implimentation from both sides to affect the outcome or decision that is made by the people involved in the play.

There are different degrees that are applied to these rules of the theater of the oppressed and it was very enlightening to see the different views and directions that a production and storyline can be viewed in comparison to an in stone script and storyline.

How do you justify compensating suffering people from an industrial tragedy with JUST under 1000$?

“I found it refreshing”à the golden skeleton in the closet. It’s unbelievable to me that people who are making money and running their “dream” businesses are saying that if a few bodies are at cost to make them a couple dimes then it is all worth it in the end.

The perspective of this cartoonist is pointing out that the cartoon represents that all ideas together do not work or correspond.

The perspective of the man business cartoon saying that he is at first conservative and then switches into a more exploitative point of how he got what he wanted.

Healthy plantations: genocide of the people who were there (the trail of tears) bought slaves who were violently taken from home lands to get the work so that the money could be given to the white man and slave owner.

Comparable to the “Golden Skeleton”—if it works for me in the end that’s all that matters.

Colbert: Neutral Man’s Burden—I have to think about people in my own family who face discrimination as being white.

Being “neutral”—

Quotes and provoked thoughts from Hacktivism

Altaire-people were making  computers and they were not the size of a house.

People joined together to make their own computers without the “okay go ahead” from a business man or big head.

Joline- “what these people were doing with computers was playful…not as big of a deal as people were making it out to be”

A law defines what theft is and what it isn’t. if you come and take land it’s not theft (development of America) and it’s a cultural invention that dictates where material things and ideas belong for the owners well benefit.                  (most laws protect private property)

Hobby computer was quickly turned into a mass produced computer. The output of a couple hundred dollars and getting an order for 50k and then turned out making half a bill a year.

Everyone has provoked fear to control the people

People realize that business can benefit from these internet websites and with usernames and purchases being made online

Imagine this: a structure that is really non hierarchical and is structured by different principles.

Lessons Learned

Growing up each individual experiences different events and is placed in different situations that subconsciously forms the people that we are today. What the idea of my autobotography website would be is something along the lines of a self made time line, as far back as the individual can remember. With each major event that is called to attention a set of characteristics and lessons will be assigned to the person after the experience takes place; Break ups, Deaths, Successes, Problems to be solved, etc… these all shape who we are. It would be interesting to see what events people had in common and to pin point what corks about you came to be and from which event things all started.

Plastic Surgery Art/Cyborg Manifesto

I believe that her views on exhibitionist art is completely taboo and out of the box. That’s why I think it’s totally acceptable. If those are the mediums that she has chosen to get her point and message across to her desired demographic than so be it; that’s her decision. The pain and courage she experiences during the active performances is admirable and unbelievable. I can’t believe some of the things she experiences just to have something acted out or happen the correct way.

She takes the materials that God gave her with her body and the people she knows and the surroundings she is placed in to create whatever comes to her mind; it is brilliant.

HOTEL

One of the most unsettling, discouraging and confusing videos I’ve been asked to watch while going to school here. I’m very lost as to what this video represents and if the emotions that I experienced watching it is what the creator intended.

The idea that he is portraying of the power that women possess over men and how it threatens them to the point where they have to take action was a point that I pulled from the video.

I also pulled that Doctors are trusted and take orders from a higher up even if they’re second guessing a situation.

Perhaps my theories are incorrect, but these are the initial thoughts that came to me while viewing.

Autobotography–found

http://www.macworld.com/article/158680/2011/03/everyday_iphone_project_365.html

The idea to have an honest documentation of your physical appearance day after day for at least a year is an intriguing thought. To take a step further I developed a deeper idea for my own autobotography intent which can be seen in the appropriate post.

Wear Cam and Shooting Back

While being in class discussion this past week we were exposed to the idea of “shooting back” and the logistics of being exposed to cameras in corporate and business situations, it ended up being a question that was on my mind for the rest of the day, when I went to the groceries store, when I got my gas, and when I was in school.

There are multiple laws and regulations limiting the use of cameras in a public setting by civilians but we have no say in the big man using cameras to make sure that we are playing the game by their rules. An intriguing thought when you put it in terms like that. While many of us are just living our day-to-day lives to get by while they’re watching it through cameras like a reality television show. Perhaps that is why reality shows are so entertaining; it gives the viewer a false feeling of being the big man.

Autobotography Chapter 3

Edge of Art:

this whole idea of being represented digitally and with an online blog isn’t a new concept. However, the directions and views that people are taking to approach these digital outlets is constantly improving and becoming more interesting and different to try and pull more attention in their direction as apposed to following the same digital representational trends of the past.

Blogging is an age old journal that is socially recognized and accepted at this point; How/What you blog about is what really sets you apart from the millions of other blogs that are on the market to be viewed.

The interest factor is definitely key in the sense of the demographic that you want to target, the emotion that you want to portray is easily translated with the topics you choose.

Camera Shy

“Camera/Shy is the only steganographic tool that automatically scans for and delivers decrypted content straight from the Web. It is a stand-alone, Internet Explorer-based browser that leaves no trace on the user’s system and has enhanced security. ”

This would easily be utilized by people trying to make a presence online and doesn’t want to be trace, by how I interpret this description.

youtube to mp3

http://www.youtube-mp3.org/

allows users to paste youtube links and withdraw the digital file to save the song that it plays. I’m interested to see how much longer this is going to be up for because so many people utilize it to withdraw music from the legal online site of Youtube.

Long distance connector

Being in a long distance relationship myself, I know the ins and outs of the difficulties couples in this situation have to face; if only there was a solution to the small trials and hurdles that we have to face in a day-to-day situation.

Distance makes the heart grow fonder, true–however; the points that lead up to the strength people must have to support that growing heart is difficult to obtain. I would be interested in creating an app that makes leaving messages and gestures technically to show reassurance to the opposite partner giving them positive reinforcement to know that the partner is thinking of them and missing them.

ALS Community

A community for people who are affiliated with people in the ALS community who either have family members diagnosed with the disease or have experiences that they can share with others who are dealing with it currently. The disease is such that it is so different with each case there is no one way to fix the same problem the same way for ever person; bathroom solutions, cleaning habits, eating, drinking, etc…

Since my father was diagnosed with ALS when I was a sophomore in High School, I have seen the ins and outs of this disease and have experienced first hand what it is like to adapt for the person with ALS and perceive what habits they have to change in order to survive and be happy with whatever living conditions they can. The app that I would create to appease this community is a blog or billboard type situation where people can contribute their solutions and coping mechanisms to deal with this death sentence that can make or break the value of life a person has. Thankfully my fathers optimism was easy to deal with and solve problems with ease and positivity.

The Coffee Table

The coffee table brings a unity and same level to all aspects of your every day college household where individuals learn to make a house run smoothly when the parents arent around. Aspects about this application that make this possible are journal entries, scheduled calendars, household mail, and of course the chore list. When all people get their hands dirty in this metaphorical household program it should theoretically be a rewarding and fun experience.

Edge of Art–Designing Politics

Hackers with a cause can be perfectly represented by the group that goes by “Anonymous” They are people who have drive to make statements via the web and technology and have made such a statement in the past decade that their hacktivist methods have been world wide recognized. In comparison to Political Design there is a more diplomatic drive and reason to be proved with what is being said and represented to the public. Such as in current political situations with those candidates who are running for President–much political design goes into the thought process of how this single human is represented and portrayed by millions of people in our country and billions world wide.

Almost anything that is referred to as executable means that there is something being called to action or work when it occurs. An executable file is referring to something that this file is going to do for the user. Execution and Representation are defined as two completely different things, as stated by the dictionary;

“Execution:  the carrying out or putting into effect of a plan, order, or course of action”

“Representation:the action of speaking or acting on behalf of someone or the state of being so represented”

Execution is about the following through with an Idea–> such as our third step of idea development that we will be doing this semester.

Representation is the form or state that we chose to execute these ideas and in what way we follow through with it.

The “Yes Men Save the World” film that was shown to us in class revealed two hacktivist men who put their clever charm to the test to not only fool people on the receiving end of the issues but the causing people of the issues as well into seeing obvious problems that are overlooked for the sake of gaining $$$. For reasons many people cannot understand, hacktivists (for the most part) are coming from an honest point of view to represent the unspoken truths that are hidden by larger companies that have the abilities to conceal dishonest facts about their production and resourcing for their corporations.

As a nation and planet we are connected with an internet connection that gives us the power to create, maintain and diminish relationships at the click of a button or type of a word; Hacktivists use this to their advantage while reaching out to the public eye and revealing things in mass quantities to all who are available to see it. This causes multiple questions and opinions to form; allowing the hacktivists to take part in stirring the pot of questions reguarding what is “right” for the people not only of the united states (rich or poor) but for those of every nation and the connections that have already been made.

Fresh Eyes

The fact that this author of the website had no ill intentions put into this website to voice the people’s opinion over what had occurred-and eventually was rewarded with responses by the affected communities and and people’s responses is inspirational. It’s a true story of someone who was inspired and compelled to start something to represent a positive message.

The PIPA SOPA movement to save our rights on the internet is another way to take the initiative and show the world that we are all for the most part feeling the same way about an important situation.

“Sometimes they’re doing things the wrong way for the simple reason that no one’s stopped to consider if there’s a better way to do it.”

Cognitive dissonance – the psychological discomfort which occurs when you’re confronted with a set of facts suggesting that what you’re doing or believing is irrational or stupid.

OCK-YEW-PIE WALL STREET

Occupy Wall Street is one of the most momentous things that my generation will be able to say they experienced in our lifetime.

A nationally  (becoming world wide) dominant movement standing up against corporate greed, while having a common voice to stand for what mass amounts of people believe in is an incredible thing to observe happening. While going to classes first semester, I observed tents, and cardboard box creations that were being occupied by students of the University of Maine–standing for what the same people in New York, Boston, Manhatten, etc… were also standing for (literally standing).

They’ve gotten the attention they’ve demanded and the purpose and reason behind their occupation of the land they stand on is admirable.

Questions that I have of this subject:

1.)There are many people who want this movement to stop, so that they don’t have to change their lifestyles–these people who want the movement to stop are the driving reason behind why it is happening. What moves has this group of people taken so far to try and stop the movement?

2.)What legal responsibilities do the people who participate in the movement have to deal with for standing for what they believe in?

3.) How long will it take before the founding groups of people who started the movement get what they want from this statement they’ve made?

HACKTIVISM

WARGAMES

I’m wondering why these illegal things were documented on their own times

Revolutionary moments  right now

How did the world become afraid of hackers?

Media

News journalist

Everyone has provoked fear to control the people

People realize that business can benefit from these internet websites and with usernames and purchases being made online

Imagine this: a structure that is really non hierarchical and is structured by different principles.

VIN CROSBIE

According to Vin; Land, Water and Sky are all of the transportation media that we have. All of these have contributed to people’s interacting with each other since the very beginning. Transport vehicles are brought from one place to another through transport MEDIUMS (MEDIA and MEDIUM—there’s a difference! He makes sure that you understand that in this article.) Our skies are used as a transportation Medium while Planes, Jets, Parachutes and Birds are Transport Vehicles.

There are three communication media in the world of New Media: Mass medium, New Medium and Interpersonal Medium. The idea of Communication Media are things that we come across every minute of our day-to-day student careers while talking to fellow student colleagues, professors talking to a lecture hall, the Announcements folder in the our first class is many groups contacting our whole student body

While one person is conversing with another, there is a lot of control being distributed to those involved in the interpersonal conversation over the content that is being said; On top of that—there is a personalization factor that is added to the conversation that is applied to who is involved which makes it more individualized. When more people are added to either side to the conversation and it grows to a number that is hard to control (content wise) the sources and information become less reliable and controllable.

Many-to-many communication isn’t a natural ability that humans are capable of having without being dependant on a certain form of technology to use as a vehicle to distribute those thoughts amongst the mass amount of people they have targeted as an audience. While certain facts and rules can be spread amongst large groups of people, there is control over what is spread between each person and that has some boundaries on what is spread. Mass Production and spreading of information is much more difficult tofind and stop the sources and the spread of rumors/false information.
